Riley Moore, a United States lawmaker, has warned the Nigerian government against ignoring the plight of Christians, stressing that Donald Trump remains firmly committed to defending persecuted Christians in Nigeria.
Moore made this statement in a post on his verified X handle on Friday.
He made this statement while reacting to the recent warning of the president to launch additional military strikes in Nigeria if attacks on Christian communities continue.
The U.S. president had earlier issued a stern warning that the US could strike again in Nigeria if attacks on Christian communities continue.

“President Trump is serious about his steadfast support to protecting our brothers and sisters in Christ who continue to face persecution in Nigeria. Do not test Trump’s resolve,” Moore wrote.
It will be recalled that Moore led a US delegation on a fact-finding mission into alleged Christian genocide in Nigeria some weeks ago.
During his brief stay in the country, Moore travelled to Benue State, where he interfaced with religious and traditional leaders, as well as internally displaced persons.
