A tragic accident occurred on Friday near Ikire, Osun State, claiming the lives of two passengers.
The incident involved a bus traveling from Ekiti State to Lagos. Sadly, the deceased individuals lost their lives at the scene of the accident.
Responding swiftly, operatives from the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) arrived at the crash site.
Kehinde Adeleke, the spokesperson for NSCDC in Osun State, confirmed the occurrence of the accident.
Adeleke said, “Today, April 5, 2024, around 1336hrs, one Oma bus from Ekiti going to Lagos had a lone accident around Balogun village which claimed two lives instantly.”

Adeleke added that those injured in the crash were taken to a private hospital in Apomu for treatment and also that the Osun NSCDC Commandant.
