In a call for unity and collective action, the Kogi State chapter of the Labour Party has urged Nigerians to join forces in reclaiming the nation from what they describe as “greedy” and “selfish” leaders.
The party’s Publicity Secretary, Idakwo Emmanuel, made this appeal on Monday, coinciding with global celebrations of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Emmanuel emphasized the need for Nigerians to stand together, transcending religious, ethnic, and regional differences to address the challenges posed by corruption and bad governance. He lamented the impact of a select few whose actions, he claimed, have affected the nation’s economy and prosperity.

Emmanuel stated, “It is time to take back our Country from this greedy set of people who have decided to cripple our hope in Nigeria.
“We must stand up to take back our country and rescue our dear nation from total collapse. This is the only country we have and void of religion, ethnicity and regional differences.
“We must defeat the few who in their selfish and satanic operations have destroyed the economy and prosperity of our nation. Together we will move Nigeria from consumption to production. It is possible” he revealed.
