The National Chairman of the Northern Comrades Movement of Nigeria (NCMN), Mal. Jabir Ibrahim Taro who was reportedly detained by the officers of the Department of State Services (DSS) over the upcoming nationwide protest against bad governance in Nigeria has regained freedom

An active Nigerian and X user with the @n6oflife6 on Monday had said that he got a call from @Mallam_jabeer that he had been detained by the DSS.

However, Confirming his freedom, Jabir earlier today tweeted, “I’m out, before briefing the public about what happened. Let’s continue to join our hands together to #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria.”

Jabir has not provided further details on the reasons for the conditions of his release.
