Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has expressed his gratitude to the people of Imo State (Ndi Imo) for their unwavering support in the 2023 gubernatorial election.
In a statement released on his X handle, Uzodimma said that he is humbled by the show of love from Ndi Imo, and that he will continue to serve them with the fear of God.
“I’ve always served with the fear of God because I prayed for victory in the 2019 election, overcoming adversaries’ plots,” He said. “Today, I return all glory to God, dedicating this victory to His guidance in the Next Level of Shared Prosperity.”

He also assured Ndi Imo that greater prosperity awaits the state and that, with God’s perfecting hand, their journey will continue to flourish.
“Be assured, ndi Imo, that greater prosperity awaits us and with God’s perfecting hand, our journey continues to flourish,” he said.
Uzodimma’s Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday was a testament to the collective spirit of Ndi Imo, with his wife, Chioma Uzodimma, friends, associates, and all Ndi Imo by his side.
