VIDEO: Lagos Flood: Thugs Order Pedestrians to Pay N100 Before Crossing Under Bridge

As a result of the heavy downpour in Lagos today, crippling businesses, thugs forced pedestrians making use of the walkway under the bridge in the Ojo area of Lagos State to pay N100 each before they could cross.

This was captured in a viral video on X, which has sparked reactions from Nigerians.

@Dorable2017 opines, “Na Tinubu boys, they have sold their destiny to Tinubu; they don’t like to Hustle just to dey collect money from people that are looking for food for their family, their in all bus stop in Lagos, 2027 tinubu will come and use them again, they are all his instrumental.”

In his opinion, @TosinAkande tweeted, “We are not ready yet in this country….the chances of this government getting better is so slim… though this kind of video is good for optics and sympathy but it can’t drive change…look at the number of those agbero there non of men crossing can take a stand!!!!”
