The 2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has paid a condolence visit to the family of Nabeeha, who was kidnapped and later killed by her abductors.
Recall that Nabeeha, her five sisters and their father were abducted by kidnappers in their residence in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), but she (Naheeba) was unfortunately killed by the kidnappers, who are said to have demanded the sum of N60 million in ransom for their release.
While speaking in a video clip shared by @Aishayesufu on Twitter, Peter Obi, who empathized with the family, noted there is a need for the government to do everything in its power to contain the daily criminalities going on in the country.
“We need to sacrifice everything possible to see that this criminality is contained. Can you imagine what it means for a father to lose a young lady? Just imagine the trauma. So, for me, we should do everything possible to ensure that this is contained and stopped.

“The government should sit up. In fact, I don’t even know where to start because this is happening every day. Traditional rules are being kidnapped and killed, and it’s happening everywhere. We’re a country, and we can’t allow it to be taken over by criminality,” Peter Obi said.
