Renowned broadcaster and journalist Oseni Rufai has said that prayers and fasting will not solve Nigeria’s problems.
He stated that Nigeria only needs brains and leaders that are ready to work.
Rufai made this known in a post shared on his official X handle.
His post reads,”We don’t need prayer and fasting to solve the problems in Nigeria.We need brains and leaders that are humble, ready to work. Faith without works is..”

“Nigeria don’t only need brains and “right leaders”, like you’ve rightly pointed out, we also need an independent judiciary, an active/working non-corrupt police force, that will enforce or hold corrupt leaders accountable,”Ewezugachukwu tweeted.
Another X user, Michael Chibuzo tweeted,”Certainly not ones that can’t obey simple traffic rules. Those ones will disregard more serious rules.
