Members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum have reaffirmed their trust in the judiciary’s ability to deliver fair and unbiased judgments.
Bala Mohammed, the Chairman of the Forum, in a press briefing following a gathering at the Bauchi State Governor’s Lodge in Abuja, highlighted the forum’s examination of recent Court of Appeal rulings pertaining to different states.
He said, “As a forum, we once again re-state our overall confidence in the judiciary to do justice.”
Governor Mohammed said, “We believe that the Supreme Court will do justice in the cases where we recorded temporary setbacks like Zamfara and Plateau States.”

He noted that the discussion covered the off-season elections in Kogi, Bayelsa, and Imo States.
Bala Mohammed conveyed the governor’s apprehension regarding the national economy and urged the Nigerian government to give precedence to the adoption of a new Revenue Allocation Formula.
This proposed formula aims to allocate more funds to states and local governments, enabling them to effectively address their growing responsibilities.
