Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has said that the Judicial Panel of Inquiry set up to recover government properties, funds, and related matters has nothing to do with witch-hunting.
Otti stated this Tuesday in his Nvosi in Isialangwa South country home when members of the Abia panel, led by its chairman, Hon. Justice Florence Duroha-Igwe, presented the final copy of the report to him
He said, “Setting up the panel has nothing to do with witch-hunting or scapegoatism. We just needed to know what happened. Proper handover was not done, and we were groping.

‘’A lot of people had concerns, and those concerns needed to be investigated. We are going to take the report very seriously and will continue to ensure that the right thing is done.
“Our government is one that ensures the right thing is done.
We will not lose anything by insisting that the right thing is done. We will insist that the right thing is done”
The governor assured that all issues raised in the report must be dealt with.
