Renowned football icon Jay Jay Okocha has stepped forward to support his nephew, Alex Iwobi, who has been subjected to cyberbullying in the wake of Nigeria’s defeat to Cote d’Ivoire in the African Cup of Nations final match.
In a heartfelt message shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Okocha penned, “I extend my prayers to Nigeria and those individuals who harbor only hate and fail to recognize the goodness in others.
When efforts are disregarded, remember to treat others as you wish to be treated. In this life, all we truly have is each other.”
