Speaking on Channels Television’s Morning Brief, General Musa assured, “This year, God willing, we will make sure bandits hold no community.”

The commitment comes in the wake of repeated attacks on the Plateau Communities, leaving many disillusioned with security efforts. General Musa emphasized the collaborative nature of the solution, stating, “Collaborative efforts are the only feasible means of ending acts of terror in the region.”

Addressing the Christmas Eve attack that claimed 200 lives, General Musa expressed determination to apprehend the culprits, noting, “Whoever did this, we are up on their heels and making some arrests.” He acknowledged the challenges faced by the military, attributing them to political decisions. “The truth about it is that the challenges we are facing are political challenges,” he said.

Responding to criticisms, General Musa defended the troops, saying, “What we try to avoid is to make our troops feel unappreciated. They are doing so much, and I can guarantee that we are achieving a lot.” #Communities
