Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has criticized the rate at which terrorism is allowed in Nigeria under the guise of being repentant.
Her outburst comes following the statistical analysis which revealed that the Borno State government received over 300,000 repentant Boko Haram members in three years.
In a post shared on her official X handle, she queried the sort of self harm Nigeria is practicing.
Her post reads,”When will this travesty stop?What kind of self harm is this?
“Where does law and justice come in? Why is terrorism the only crime that repentance is allowed in Nigeria?Why?!
