Nigerian music star Wizkid has praised the Super Eagles for their enthusiasm as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.
The team’s new head coach, Eric Chelle, conducted his first training session with the players on Tuesday. Reacting on Wednesday via his X handle, Wizkid expressed his admiration for the squad’s spirit under Chelle’s leadership.
“New Super Eagles team! [I] love the energy,” he tweeted.
The World Cup qualifying match will take place at Amahoro Stadium in Rwanda on Friday, March 21, at 5 PM Nigerian time.
After the fixture, Nigeria will return home to face Zimbabwe in Uyo on Tuesday.
