Bola Tinubu has pledged to intensify his efforts and prayers for the continued peace and stability of Nigeria.
He made this commitment while speaking with reporters following a special Juma’ah prayer session held at the National Mosque in Abuja. The prayer session was organized both for the country and to mark his 73rd birthday.

Expressing gratitude for witnessing his 73rd birthday on March 29, Tinubu emphasized that the safety and well-being of Nigerians remain his top priority.
He stated, “I feel good. I feel happy. I thank the Almighty Allah, who has protected us and continues to answer our prayers.
“We also thank Allah for accepting our worship; that is key and very important to us.
“We have prayed for our country. We prayed for the stability and peace of the nation.
“We prayed that Almighty Allah will safeguard our people and all citizens.”
President Tinubu highlighted that his guiding principle remains “hard work and hard prayers.”
He added, “The word for all of us is hard work. You work harder, and you pray harder.
“That’s the inspiration I got from today’s sermon. We thank God almighty that at this stage, we are still in it and working.”
Leading the special prayers for the country and the president were Dr Abdulkadir Solagberu, the Malami Ubandoma of Ilorin Emirate, alongside other Islamic clerics.
Dr Solagberu assured the president of continued prayers for his good health, strength, and wisdom to lead the country to greater heights. He stressed that the peace and stability of the nation would foster development and improve citizens’ well-being.
The Imam of the National Mosque, Prof. Muhammad Adam, commended President Tinubu and his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for their support to the poor and vulnerable during Ramadan.
Prof. Adam also encouraged Muslims to continue offering prayers for the president, the nation, and to maintain goodwill towards the less privileged even after Ramadan.
He added, “Mr president, Allah is with you, and you will succeed.”
Among those who attended the Friday congregational prayers were Vice President Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Sen. Barau Jibrin, National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu, several ministers, service chiefs, and members of the president’s family.
