Former Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has spoken out against Iran’s recent drone attacks on Israel, expressing concern over the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
The attacks, which began on Saturday evening, marked the official commencement of hostilities between the two nations, following Israel’s previous strike on the Iranian embassy in Syria, resulting in the deaths of several Iranian officials.
Despite international efforts to prevent further escalation, Iran proceeded with its retaliatory measures against Israel, disregarding resolutions from the United Nations and the United States, among others.
In response to the unfolding situation, Shehu Sani took to X to voice his concern, stating, “Iran has launched a retaliatory drone attack against Israel. Before our very eyes, the Middle East will finally be engulfed in War.

“All UN resolutions on Gaza had been defied, world leaders have failed,” he added.
