Yahaya Bello

Governor Yahaya Bello has dismissed claims of electoral violence in Kogi, attributing it to media fabrication.

Despite documented evidence from the 2019 elections highlighting widespread violence and fraud, Bello asserted that such reports were baseless and concocted by those unfamiliar with the state’s ground reality.

Speaking to reporters after casting his vote in Agassa, Okene LGA, Yahaya Bello urged a comparison between his tenure and the previous administration, emphasizing the absence of electoral violence during his regime.
