Investigative journalist David Hundeyin has launched said that Sahara Reporters publisher Omoyele Sowore, is the biggest plant in West Africa” and alleged that he is secretly working for the same foreign interests as Bola Tinubu.
In a statement circulating widely on social media, Hundeyin urged Nigerians to scrutinize the funding sources behind Sahara Reporters, pointing to major American philanthropic organizations such as the Omidyar Network, Ford Foundation, and MacArthur Foundation—all of which he claimed are front operations for U.S. foreign intelligence.
He tweeted, “I’ve already said everything I have to say about him. He works for the same people Tinubu works for.
“Literally all you have to do to confirm this for yourself is pull up the Wikipedia page of Sahara Reporters and see who funds it (Omidyar Network, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation) – all U.S. Intelligence front organisations.
