Former Ogun State Governor, Chief Segun Osoba, has called on the South-West to fully support Bola Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing that unwavering backing is crucial despite any personal grievances or difficulties.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zone Assembly meeting held at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Osoba stressed that the region must rally behind Tinubu throughout his current term and work towards securing a second term for him.
He highlighted that Tinubu is the first leader from the progressive political movement to assume the country’s highest office.
“We cannot and should not allow anyone to derail our democracy under Tinubu,” Osoba insisted.
He also emphasized that the future of Nigeria under Tinubu’s leadership should take priority over any negative feelings towards the president or his administration.
Additionally, Osoba pointed out that no funds were left in the national treasury for fuel subsidy when Tinubu assumed office.
