You’ll be Deported if Your Stay is Not in US Best Interest – JD Vance Tells Foreign Students

U.S. Vice President JD Vance has stated that immigrants on student visas will face deportation if the government determines their presence is not in the country’s best interest.

In an interview with Fox News, Vance emphasized that deportation numbers are expected to rise as President Donald Trump’s administration intensifies efforts to remove illegal migrants.

He noted Trump’s impatience with the current pace of deportations and assured that the numbers would increase.

When asked whether this policy would apply to legally admitted foreign students, Vance confirmed that it would, describing it as a necessary step to enhance national security.

“This is not fundamentally about free speech, and to me, yes, it’s about national security, but it’s also more importantly about who do we as an American public decide gets to join our national community.

“And if the Secretary of State and the President decide this person shouldn’t be in America, and they have no legal right to stay here, it’s as simple as that.

“I think we’ll certainly see some people who get deported on student visas if we determine that it’s not in the best interest of the United States to have them in our country,” he said.

He also blamed foreign students for taking up spots in high-ranking universities at the expense of native Americans.
