President Joe Biden has vowed that Hamas will face repercussions for the killing of American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin.
Reacting to the tragic news, Biden expressed his devastation and outrage over Goldberg-Polin’s death.
According to reports, IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari announced that Goldberg-Polin and five other hostages were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists shortly before they could be rescued. ‘
Fox News reports that Goldberg-Polin’s body, along with the other hostages, was recovered from tunnels under Rafah on Saturday.
Goldberg-Polin’s family and friends, who had campaigned worldwide for his release and met with various world leaders, including officials from the Biden administration, are mourning his loss.
In response, President Biden declared that Hamas leaders will be held accountable for their actions and assured that his administration will continue working tirelessly to secure the release of the remaining hostages.

“It is as tragic as it is reprehensible,” Biden said.
“Make no mistake, Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. And we will keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages.”
Vice President Kamala Harris expressed her condolences to Goldberg-Polin’s loved ones during their time of mourning.
She also labeled Hamas as a terrorist organization.
