American YouTube star MrBeast has embarked on a mission to build 100 boreholes across Africa to enable access to clean water for all people.

He recently visited Kenya, where he drilled 52 boreholes in various communities and schools lacking clean drinking water.

MrBeast, a content creator with the most subscribers on YouTube, flew to Kenya and documented the building of the wells as well as his interactions with students and residents.

He shared the video on his YouTube channel, which has already garnered over 30 million views in 12 hours.

Some of the areas where he drilled the boreholes include a school in Nairiri, Meru County.

He also installed water tanks and pipes to make the water easily accessible.

He said the 100 wells he is building are going to give half a million people access to fresh drinking water.

Apart from drilling the boreholes, MrBeast also engaged in other projects to improve the lives of the people he met.

He visited a classroom equipped with computers, and said it is part of his efforts to make learning accessible for all.

MrBeast also donated balls and built bookshelves in some other schools and promised to build a new bridge for a community that was using a wooden one that posed danger to them.

From Kenya, he flew down to Zimbabwe and then to Uganda, Somalia, and Cameroon, where he says he built more boreholes and did other projects.
