The Warriors of Zimbabwe have arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, in anticipation of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Nigeria.
Under the leadership of Baltemar Brito, the national football team made their arrival in Kigali on a sunny Saturday morning, welcomed by officials from the Zimbabwe embassy in Kigali and the advance team that had previously landed in Rwanda on November 7th.
Their stay in Kigali will last until November 13th, after which they will transfer to Butare, the designated host town for their World Cup qualifier matches against Rwanda on November 15th and Nigeria on November 19th.

The initial contingent included six players and members of the technical staff. As the anticipation builds, foreign-based players are expected to join the squad’s training camp starting Sunday.
