Sesi Whingan, the legislator representing Badagry Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, affirmed on Friday that the National Assembly is actively working on legislation aimed at enhancing the well-being of Nigerians.
Whingan made this statement during a media chat at his residence in Badagry, acknowledging the prevailing challenges and hardships in the country.
“We are making laws that will better all and sundry in the country,” he added.
Speaking further, he urged Nigerians to be patient with Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The legislator mentioned that his presence in 11 House committees is aimed at securing the delivery of democratic benefits to the residents of Badagry.
“I will ensure that all the 11 house committees to which I belong are relevant committees that I can use as a platform to attract development to Badagry,” he said.
During his six months in office, Mr. Whingan stated that he had sponsored 15 bills in the House, with 11 of them successfully passing the second reading.

“All of these bills are bills for national development, which will also benefit Badagry.
“My engagement has been how to move my people out of poverty,” he said.
