A man, Abiodun Akintomowo, reportedly lost his life after having a sex romp with a woman believed to be his girlfriend in a hotel in Ondo town, Ondo State, on Sunday.
The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the incident and said it had arrested two persons in connection with the case.
According to the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the two suspects are the woman who was with the deceased in the hotel and the owner of the hotel where the tragedy occurred.
She said the identity of the suspects was being withheld for security reasons.She told reporters in Akure on Tuesday that the deceased was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed in the hotel room following the sexual intercourse with the woman, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.

She said the two suspects were still in police custody while investigation was ongoing.
She also said the corpse of the deceased had been deposited at the morgue of a hospital in the town for autopsy.
A source close to the hotel said the woman raised the alarm when she noticed that the man was not breathing after the sex romp. He said the hotel manager and some residents tried to revive the man but to no avail.
He said the hotel management then reported the matter to the Yaba Divisional Police Station in the community, who came to the scene and took the body away.
