The special assistant to Bola Ahmed Tinubu on media and publicity, Temitope Ajayi, has attacked the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, for unraveling the series of controversies surrounding Bola Tinubu’s Chicago State University academic records.
He made this known via his official X account today, claiming that Atiku is friends with Bola Ahmed, so he shouldn’t have gone through thick and thin to dig out the controversies that closely Hug Bola Tinubu’s CSU claims.
He explained that Bola Tinubu has been a good and kind friend of Atiku even when things went south, noting that he was provided shelter by Tinubu when he got “stripped naked” by former president Obasanjo and his party, the PDP.
According to him, “For me, the issue is not whether President Tinubu graduated from Chicago State University or not. It is a fact that former Vice President Atiku is not a decent man.
“Nobody should subject his or her friend to the level of assault and indignity he has subjected President Tinubu to because of his earthly position and contestation for power.
“We are talking of a Tinubu that had moved mountains for Atiku in the past. A Tinubu that offered Atiku a shelter when he was thoroughly beaten by rain and stripped naked by President Obasanjo and his party, the PDP, in 2007.”
“No friend should become what Ekiti people call ‘aleni mo deyin’, a relentless pursuer like former VP Atiku, regardless of the prize.”
