The Ogun State Community, Social Orientation and Safety Corps, known as So-Safe Corps, apprehended a 46-year-old man, Ibrahim Ogunrinde, a butcher, for attempting to murder a motorcyclist he accused of having an affair with his wife.
Ibrahim Ogunrinde, a butcher and farmer from Adu Town, Ajebo Road, Mile 6, Abeokuta, was arrested at Ijaye Garage, Abeokuta. According to Moruf Yusuf, the Director of Information and Public Relations for So-Safe Corps, Ogunrinde’s arrest took place on Thursday at around 2:40 pm.
The drama began on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, when Ogunrinde (butcher) allegedly pretended to be a passenger and asked the victim, Kosu Daniel, also known as “Jeje”, to take him to Olubo Town. Yusuf explained, “He then allegedly stabbed Kosu Daniel in the neck and arm, leaving him in a pool of blood, and escaped with the victim’s motorbike.”
