Amid plan for nationwide protests in Nigeria, Nigerian actor and content creator Adebowale Adedayo, popularly known as Mr. Macaroni, has pointed out ongoing political hypocrisy.
The skit-maker stated that individuals who previously insulted a sitting President are now attacking polite demands for good governance.
Recall that during the past government of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, some critics harshly criticized his administration and called for protests. But under the recent government of Bola Tinubu, these same critics are attacking those who demand good governance and revolution.

However, in a tweet on Tuesday, Macaroni labeled these critics, as what he called Awon Agba Gaslighters, pointing out the glaring inconsistency in their behaviour.
He further tweeted, “Same set of people that called a sitting President unprintable names few years ago are the same set of people that would attack and curse you for demanding good governance even in the most polite of ways.”
