Nigerian Foreign Students Call Tinubu ‘Thief’ During Protest In London, Demand Release of Detained #EndBadGovernance Protesters, Others

A group of Nigerian and foreign students in London held a protest on Saturday, October 5, 2024, outside the Nigerian High Commission, calling on Bola Tinubu to reverse his “anti-poor policies” and to drop all charges against those arrested during the #EndBadGovernance protests.

The demonstration, organized by a socialist student group under the banner ‘Fight for Socialism,’ saw both Black and White students participating.

The protesters carried placards with messages like “Drop all charges and release protesters” and “Reverse all anti-poor policies.”

In a video clip obtained by SaharaReporters, the protesters are seen chanting repeatedly, “When I say Tinubu, you say thief,” as they voiced their discontent with the government’s treatment of #EndBadGovernance protesters.
