In a swift response to the call for action by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) minister, Nyesom Wike, police operatives have successfully apprehended a notorious Abuja kidnapper, Dabiru Adamu.

Wike had announced a reward of N20 million for any information leading to the capture of Adamu and another accomplice, who had orchestrated several abductions, causing widespread fear and distress among the residents of the territory.

The arrest of Dabiru Adamu occurred within a mere 48 hours of the bounty announcement made by Minister Wike on Wednesday, February 14.

Wike, determined to bring these criminals to justice, declared, “You said there are two criminals on the run? Let me put money on their heads. Wherever they are, send your men out there, I will give them N20 million. Go and fish them out, wherever they are. I want to see them dead or alive.”
