National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has disclosed that the ruling party will apply scientific methods to win all future elections in the country.
Ganduje said this during a solidarity rally in support of him and Bola Tinubu by concerned North Central APC stakeholders and elders forum at the party’s headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday.
“We promised that there would be electronic registration of our party’s membership, which we have already started,” stated Ganduje.
“It is extremely important since Nigerian democracy is developing and evolving. We have to take into account a lot of factors to win an election, and we also need reliable data.
“These days, elections are scientific rather than trial and error; if you are not scientific, you will undoubtedly lose an election. Additionally, we determined that the Progressive Institute needed to be established for our party to have a distinct identity, a solid guiding principle, and a strong direction. This will enlighten our members about the ins and outs of democracy; educate our members about the institutions that oversee elections, such as the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC), security personnel, and political parties; and educate our monitors about the extent to which our manifesto is being carried out.”

The former governor of Kano State also decried the abuses on Tinubu, believing he would lead the nation out of its current predicament.
“We want to express our gratitude for his effort to rebuild our economy. With his commitment, we believe that our economy will be put in the right place. We have to work together to assist Tinubu in his effort to maintain peace and security,” he said.
