In response to the prevailing economic challenges characterized by the soaring prices of essential commodities and the overall high cost of living, the “Take It Back Movement,” a prominent human rights group, has mobilized its members and supporters to stage a protest in the bustling streets of Lagos State.

With voices raised in solidarity, the demonstrators aim to draw attention to the plight of ordinary citizens grappling with the burdensome burden of inflated food prices and the resultant strain on household budgets.

This protest was held against the warning issued by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, on Sunday.
