Busted: Ajuri Backtracks On Tinubu’s NASDAQ Lie

The administration has issued an official apology for describing Bola Tinubu as the first African leader to participate in the recent NASDAQ bell-ringing event.

Although Tinubu was initially credited with this historic feat, it was later discovered that another African leader had already rung the bell at NASDAQ.

The White House issued a statement Friday expressing remorse for the misstep.

We incorrectly stated that Bola Tinubu was the first African leader to ring the bell at NASDAQ on Wednesday in New York due to inaccurate information from a third-party event organizer.

“We have since found out that this information was or is incorrect, as a former African leader has indeed had the privilege,” the statement read.
