Chelsea Football Club faces additional setbacks as four key players join the injury list ahead of their upcoming Premier League match against Burnley this Saturday.
The club confirmed on Thursday that Carney Chukwuemeka, Robert Sanchez, Trevoh Chalobah, and Ben Chilwell are all sidelined due to various injuries.
Previously, the Blues had announced the season-ending thigh injury of Romeo Lavia earlier this week.
Chalobah is currently engaged in light training, while goalkeeper Sanchez and Chukwuemeka are “undergoing rehabilitation programs.’

This adds to the challenges faced by the club’s manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is already dealing with the absence of Reece James, Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Christopher Nkunku due to injuries.
Notably, Chelsea is currently positioned 11th in the Premier League table with 39 points.
