Paris Saint-Germain’s star forward, Kylian Mbappe, has voiced his perspective on the upcoming UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg match against Barcelona, stating that the outcome is ultimately “in God’s hands.”

The anticipated clash is set to take place on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes, with PSG hosting the Spanish giants.

Mbappe emphasized the significance of this fixture during an interview with Téléfoot, highlighting how this period marks a pivotal juncture in the season for football clubs.

He expressed confidence in his team’s dedication to securing a favorable result against Barcelona, acknowledging the critical role this match plays in shaping their season’s trajectory.

When asked about the importance of the Champions League fixture, Mbappe stated, “Every year, this period is a turning point in the season. At the end of April, we will have an indication of the type of season we are likely to have.”
