Lagos Govt Orders Urgent Removal of Trailers, Tankers From Apapa-Oshodi Expressway

Lagos State Government has issued a directive for the immediate removal of trailers and tankers from the Apapa-Oshodi expressway.

The announcement came through Sola Giwa, the Special Adviser on Transportation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in a statement released today.

Giwa emphasized that the persistent presence of articulated vehicles on the expressway has been a significant cause of traffic congestion, leading to substantial disruptions and inconvenience for commuters. The directive aims to address these issues by swiftly clearing the road of obstructions.

The move is part of the government’s strategy to alleviate congestion and enhance road accessibility for residents in Lagos.

Sola Giwa stated that this decisive action is taken to ensure smoother commuting experiences for all road users in the bustling city.
