Super Eagles of Nigeria forward Ademola Lookman secured a hat-trick as Atalanta triumphed over Bayer Leverkusen with a 3-0 victory in the Europa League final.
Lookman made history by becoming the first African player to score three goals in the final of a major UEFA competition.
This marked Atalanta’s first European title and made them the first Italian team to win the Europa League.

Lookman opened the scoring in the 12th minute with an assist from Davide Zappacosta.

He doubled the lead with a sublime finish 12 minutes later and completed his hat-trick with a beautiful effort 15 minutes from time.
