Nigerian Military Releases Names, Photos of 17 Soldiers Killed in Delta Ambush

The Defence Headquarters of Nigeria has officially released the names and photographs of 17 military (Soldiers) personnel who were tragically killed in an ambush in Delta State.

The attack occurred in Okuama, a community within the Ughelli South Local Government Area, following a peacekeeping mission.

Among the fallen soldiers were prominent figures, including Lt Col AH Ali, the Commanding Officer of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, Nigerian Army, as well as two majors, one captain, and 12 other personnel from the battalion.

Expressing condolences and honoring the departed, the Nigerian Army shared a photo collage of the fallen soldiers on their official X handle, stating, “May The Souls of the Departed Rest In Peace.”
