Nigerian Music Industry Might Have its Own ‘Diddy’ — Tiwa Savage Hints

Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage stated that the Nigerian music industry could face its own version of Sean Combs, widely known as Diddy, who is currently embroiled in serious allegations, including sex trafficking.

During a recent interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Savage disclosed, “I think Nigerian music might have our own Diddy moment.”

Savage’s comments come in the wake of Diddy’s legal troubles, which include charges of racketeering conspiracy and interstate transportation for prostitution. He was arrested by Homeland Security in September and has pleaded not guilty.

The situation escalated after federal officers raided Diddy’s Beverly Hills mansion in March, seizing supplies allegedly intended for orgies, including drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil.

In Nigeria, the music industry has recently been shaken by allegations from content creator-turned-singer Oluwadolarz, who claimed that a gay music executive demanded sexual favors from him in exchange for promoting his song.
