In an incident captured on video, some Nigerian policemen were observed soliciting money from a female biker touring Nigeria from the Netherlands.
The encounter unfolded along Moniya Road in Oyo State, where the Policemen stopped the Dutch tourist to inquire about her origin and destination. To their surprise, she revealed she was from the Netherlands and en route to Abuja.
In the 1:26-minute footage, the Policemen, communicating in pidgin, insisted that the tourist provide them with money or any valuables she possessed. Despite her apparent confusion, they explicitly demanded, “Give me money, money,” leaving the bewildered biker questioning their motives.
Interacting with the biker in pidgin, the officers said, “Wetin you bring come? Wetin you won give me. Oya give me something nah.”
The tourist appeared not to comprehend the officers’ message until they clearly said, “Give me money, money,” to which she asked, “Why?”
