JUST IN: Obiano Granted Bail, Case Adjourned Till March 4

Justice Inyang Ekwo from the Federal High Court in Abuja has approved bail for Willie Obiano, the former governor of Anambra State.

The court stipulated that Obiano must stay within the court’s jurisdiction and directed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to submit the defendant’s travel documents to the court registrar.

Moreover, Ekwo instructed the registrar to inform the Nigerian Immigration Service about this development.

Despite the prosecution counsel’s request to remand the former governor, the case has been adjourned for further trial on March 4, 5, 6, and 7.
