Concerns over the state of education infrastructure in Lagos State have surged online as Nigerians utilize the hashtag #TinubuLagosSchoolSeries to draw attention to the dilapidated conditions of schools built before and during Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s tenure as Governor.

This online movement comes in response to a debate sparked by Reno Omokiri‘s assertion that former Anambra State Governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, failed to construct new schools, focusing instead on renovations during his tenure.

These schools suffer from rotten roofs, lack of ceilings, and insufficient seating, forcing students to learn while sitting on bare floors.
