The police have nabbed a kidnap kingpin, Roland Raymond, at the point of collection of ransom in Adamawa State.
Adamawa State police command spokesman SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje confirmed the incident on Tuesday.
The suspect, a resident of Detti village, Ganye local government area of the state was arrested following a report by Alhaji Yahya Congo and Abraham Paul, who stated that the suspect called them via phone and demanded the sum of N600,000 or risk being kidnapped.

The force spokesman disclosed that “Upon receipt of the complaints, the police in Ganye Division, in collaboration with hunters, swiftly mobilized and arrested the suspect at the point of collecting the demanded money”.
The PPRO has stated that the suspect will be charged in court upon completion of the investigation.
