In a tragic incident in Reno, Nevada, a 17-year-old Teenager, Mashenka Reid, has been arrested for allegedly shooting her father and younger brother.

Reid told the Nevada dispatcher, “I just couldn’t resist the urge to kill somebody,” according to court filings.

According to the report, the first 911 call about the incident came from a neighbor reporting gunshots and screams for help.

Upon arrival at the family’s apartment, the police discovered the Teenager’s brother lifeless on the couch with a gunshot wound to the head, and her father in the garage, succumbing to gunshot wounds in his chest and back.

Reid’s younger sister managed to survive by hiding in a locked bedroom, later rescued by a police officer who had to kick in the door.

Authority said Reid herself dialed 911 and allegedly confessed to killing her family members, according to an affidavit filed in Reno Justice Court obtained by the paper.

According to document, Reid allegedly told the emergency operator, “I shot my dad. I shot my brother. My brother is dead.

“I just couldn’t resist the urge to kill somebody,” she added.

The suspected murder weapon, a Walther PPS, was reported to be dropped inside the apartment.
