Rights activist Aisha Yesufu expressed her concern on Wednesday, stating that terrorists are the primary beneficiaries of the alleged rigging carried out by Bola Tinubu in the last presidential election.
Yesufu deplored the fact that under Tinubu’s leadership, terrorists are flourishing, wreaking havoc at the expense of the lives of Nigerian citizens.
Taking to X to voice her opinion, Yesufu stated, “Terrorists are the real winners of Tinubu’s rigging. They have a field day and they are having a ball at the expense of citizens’ lives,” She said.
Her remarks come against the backdrop of a recent upsurge in violence, abductions, and killings in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and various other regions of the country.
The FCT witnessed numerous abductions, while Plateau State experienced hundreds of casualties in attacks. In response to the escalating violence, the Plateau State government declared a curfew in the Mangu area on Tuesday.
Despite the imposition of the curfew, terrorists struck again on Wednesday, claiming the lives of approximately 20 people.
