FRESH ATTACK: Terrorists Kill Two, Abduct 16 in Kaduna

Terrorists have reportedly carried out a deadly attack in Gidan Busa community, located in Kachia LGA of Kaduna State, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and the abduction of 16 others.

The incident adds to a string of recent attacks by terrorists in various Kaduna communities, highlighting the ongoing security challenges faced by residents in the state.

Narrating what happened, a resident who pleaded anonymity said that the terrorists came to Gidan Busa and abducted 16 residents, killing two, while five sustained gunshot injuries and are currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

He said, “Yesterday night (Friday), gunmen came to Gidan Busa and abducted 16 residents of the area, killing two while five sustained gunshot injuries and currently receiving treatment in the hospital.

“In the residence of one Alhaji Hassan, they abducted 8 persons, including his wife and children, and killed one of his boys and female. The incident occurred at about 11.30 pm.”

This incident comes against the backdrop of the recent elimination of Isyaku Boderia, a notorious bandit reportedly responsible for orchestrating numerous high-profile attacks, including the abduction of Yauri school girls, and the raid on Greenfield University.

The bandit kingpin, Boderia, was killed following an encounter with troops from the 1 Division of the Nigerian Army in the Bada/Riyawa general area spanning Chikun and Igabi LGAs of Kaduna State on Wednesday.
