Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, widely known as Timaya, has shared his disappointment over the underwhelming performance of Nigerian artists at the 66th Grammy Awards.
Despite the anticipation surrounding nominees such as Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Davido, Asake, and Olamide, they were all snubbed in their respective categories on Sunday.
In the inaugural Best African Music Performance category, Tyla, the sole non-Nigerian nominee, emerged victorious, leaving the Nigerian quintet empty-handed.
Notably, both Davido and Burna Boy faced defeats in the Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance
