Former President Donald Trump has made a bold promise during a speech in New Hampshire, pledging to protect Americans from what he perceives as potential government tyranny.
Trump vowed to prevent the introduction of a Central Bank Digital Currency, arguing that such a currency would grant the federal government unprecedented control over individuals’ finances.
Emphasising the threat to freedom, he asserted his commitment to thwarting any attempt to implement such a system in America.
Additionally, Trump promised to establish robust safeguards to prevent banks and regulators from “de-banking” individuals based on their political beliefs.
Trump articulated “Tonight, I am also making another promise to protect Americans from government tyranny. As your president, I will never allow the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. Such a currency would give the federal government absolute control over your money.
“This would be a dangerous threat to freedom – and I will stop it from coming to America. We are also going to put in place strong protections to stop banks and regulators from trying to DE-BANK you for your political beliefs. That will NEVER happen while I am your president,” Trump Promised.
