Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has expressed optimism about the potential worldwide impact if the Super Eagles of Nigeria emerge victorious in the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
In a recent conversation with West Ham defender Kurt Zouma, shared on the club’s social media page, Omah Lay highlighted the enthusiasm and excitement surrounding Nigeria’s performance in the tournament.
Omah Lay stated, “It [Nigeria’s run at the AFCON] is amazing. You can see how crazy the people are going, and you can see how everybody is jumping around. It’s amazing to see.

“I’m hopeful that this is going to be the year for us. The world is going to shake! The world will shake. But I know for sure that if we win this [AFCON], it’s going to be very huge.”
The Super Eagles are set to face hosts Cote d’Ivoire in the AFCON final today.
