The National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) USA branch has scheduled a global press conference that will take place at Chicago City Hall, also referred to as the Citadel of Democracy in the state of Abraham Lincoln. The meeting is set for 9:45 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023.
The purpose of this conference is to give reporters and the global public a chance to look into and clarify the claims made against Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s purportedly falsified Chicago State University (CSU) diploma.
This announcement was made as part of a statement that was given to journalists and news organisations today, Thursday, October 19, 2023, and signed by Comrade David Adenekan, NADECO’s publicity secretary.
In order to preserve the reputation of many law-abiding Nigerian residents who reside overseas as well as the integrity of CSU, the meeting aims to discuss important issues surrounding the purportedly faked certificate.
As a resolutely democratic organisation that values press freedom and power, NADECO USA claims in its statement to permit members of the worldwide press to “open up a can of worms” for public viewing, should such a thing exist.
The group reiterates its dedication to the continuous fight against corruption and incompetent leadership in Nigeria.
